Litchfield Park officials will stock Tierra Verde Lake with rainbow trout before the annual fishing derby on Saturday, Jan.
24 at the park near Old Litchfield Rd + Villa Nueva Dr so up to 800 community members can register for morning or afternoon sessions and compete for trophies or raffle prizes.
Desert West Market will host a Valentine’s Day market on Feb.
14 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Estrella Mountain Community College (3000 N. Dysart Road) with more than 150 vendor booths, a floral bar, live music, a photo booth and food trucks in a festive local setting.
