Goodyear's Office of Tourism, launched July 1, 2025, is strengthening efforts to draw visitors, overnight stays and sports travel ahead of spring training; economic director Wendy Bridges said the office met its first-year goals early + built strong industry ties.
Job seekers in the West Valley will be able to connect with employers during a hiring event hosted by Arizona at Work, Maricopa County & the City of Goodyear at Goodyear Recreation Campus, Community Room at 420 Estrella Parkway.
The event will feature interviews and recruitment from multiple sectors.

Residents can join a free, educational workshop on starting a 2026 garden at the Georgia T Lord Library on Jan.
16 from noon to 1:30 p.m. Certified Master Gardener Terri Kelly will guide adults on planting in midwinter + preparing soil for spring and summer.
