- ➤ Troy Buck from Fix Auto Avondale unveiled the final artwork in Goodyear’s HeART of Goodyear project today outside Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Center (teen artists collaborated on a fiberglass heart sculpture celebrating the city’s 75th anniversary) and was honored for dedicating extra hours to support the project. GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Liberty Utilities is proposing to raise water bills by 43% and wastewater charges by 54% for local residents (including in Goodyear) to fund nearly $200 million in upgrades. A formal hearing at the Arizona Corporation Commission that began March 23 will determine if these new rates take effect in Q3. Goodyear Independent
HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear has introduced new rehabilitation technologies at its inpatient facility today to improve recovery for patients with stroke, neurological injuries and orthopedic conditions. The new equipment supports mobility, strength and cognitive function with a combination of electrical stimulation and interactive therapy systems. Goodyear Independent
