- ➤ Goodyear is launching its Summer Recreation Program from June 2 to July 18 for children from grade 1 through 8 with fun activities like laser tag, STEM projects and crafts — residents will register on April 7 and nonresidents may sign up on April 14 if space allows. The program offers full day and half day options, a Camp X-Treme for children aged 8 to 12, a free Junior Leader Volunteer Program for youth ages 13 to 14 and scholarships for families in need.
