- ➤ The Goodyear Police Department is hosting the 2025 Teen Police Academy Training for high school students interested in law enforcement and criminal justice from June 9-12, running 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Operations Building on 11 N. 145th Avenue. Applicants must be 14 to 18 (excluding incoming freshmen) and submit a 250-word essay, medical insurance card and $65 fee (covering a polo shirt and graduation expenses) by May 29 at 5 p.m.; space is limited.
