- ➤ Goodyear’s Water Services Department earned four statewide awards from the Arizona Water Association for excellence in wastewater management and workplace safety — it received the Wastewater Collection System of the Year honor and three Water Safety Awards for a 2024 record with zero injuries. - ➤ The City of Goodyear announced it will raise primary property taxes by 2%—the tax on a $100,000 home will increase from $91.36 to $93.19, adding $303,271 overall.
