Nearly three weeks after a fiery crash nearly claimed his daughter's life, Goodyear Fire Captain Simeon Cheatham said he is relieved by her recovery—he credited a quick rescue for saving her life.
Before sunrise on I-10 near 91st Avenue, a Goodyear officer rescued the daughter of a fire captain from a burning car—his body camera recorded the dramatic rescue and the captain later expressed deep gratitude despite her severe burns.
