Child Crisis Arizona partnered with SRP, State Farm and local firefighter charities to provide nine West Valley families with free pool fences for child safety; installations are underway in Laveen, Peoria, Tolleson and nearby areas as summer heats up.

Olivia Pavlich mentors nearly 30 high school girls at the annual Camp F.I.R.E.S. organized by the Goodyear Fire Department as the five-day event builds leadership and confidence through firefighting drills (a program that evolved from an eight-participant camp).
