- ➤ New Life Center was selected as one of 100 community-nominated projects to receive a large-scale renovation funded by Lowe’s Hometowns— a $100 million community impact initiative. The Goodyear-based nonprofit will update eight emergency shelter casitas with new bathroom fixtures, durable flooring and energy-efficient lighting to create a calm space for survivors. - ➤ Mission BBQ, a national restaurant chain supporting military and first responders, announced plans to open a new Goodyear location as part of the city’s growing dining scene; it was founded in 2011+with existing locations in Paradise Valley + Surprise, and an opening date has not yet been announced. - ➤ Lincoln Property Company and Harvard Investments delivered Goodyear AirPark Phase I, a 1.6-million-square-foot, six-building industrial project with full utilities and zoning located minutes from Interstate 10 near Estrella Mountain Ranch and Goodyear Ballpark. The project is part of a 565-acre master plan to eventually develop up to 7-million-square-foot of space for mid-to-large-scale users in logistics, advanced manufacturing and data centers.
