Local entrepreneurs and small business owners will attend a free branding workshop on July 31 at the Georgia T.
Lord Library’s InnovationHub—located at 1900 N. Civic Square—to learn essential branding tips as part of the monthly Business Builders series. Cameron Rennacker of Rennacker Studio will lead the session with a presentation on brand identity and a Q&A from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
ALDI will open its new Surprise store on July 24 — the event will have a ribbon cutting at 8 a.m., free tote bags, and a gift card giveaway, while Trader Joe's is building a 13500 square foot store in Goodyear at North Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road with its opening date not yet set.
Avila University will open a new campus in Goodyear in fall that offers five graduate programs in business and technology management.
The campus was approved by the Higher Learning Commission & will feature computer labs, collaborative learning spaces and a student services center.
Abrazo West Campus is hosting a free breastfeeding fair to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week — certified lactation consultants will provide one-on-one guidance and answer questions.
The event includes free giveaways and a raffle — an opportunity for attendees to get support without cost.
