- ➤ Goodyear High School opened Monday with more than 300 freshmen joining new sports programs in the Agua Fria Union High School District near Loop 303 and training at local facilities over the summer. Principal Jason Linn and flag football coach Robynn Lee said they plan to build a strong athletics legacy—players like Mia Martinez and Neveah 'Speedy' Cordova are excited for the upcoming season and the Sep. 15 game.
