David Lopez, who brings over 25 years of parks and recreation leadership, is named Goodyear’s new Parks and Recreation director.
He will lead the city department managing parks, recreation facilities, aquatics, special events, programs, and open spaces for residents and visitors.

The Goodyear YMCA Silver Fins Dive Team won nine gold medals at the AAU National Diving Championships held July 16-23 at the Fort Lauderdale Aquatic Center in Florida, finishing second in the boys standings by one point despite only seven divers competing.
