Goodyear has hired James Smith (with 25 years of experience) as its new economic development director to lead efforts to attract and retain businesses while boosting job creation and investment.
He aims to strengthen the city's economic growth.
Transportation crews will set up work zones at the I-10 interchange at Jackrabbit Trail — the start of a two-year project to build new freeway bridges, widen ramps and upgrade nearby cross streets — as contractors begin work this weekend.
