- ➤ Seattle-based retailer Nordstrom, Inc. will open a 25,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack at GSQ on the northwest corner of Bullard Avenue and McDowell Road in downtown Goodyear. The store will open in spring 2027 and offer off-price clothing and home goods—meeting a request from local residents. Goodyear Independent
- ➤ Nordstrom announced plans to open a new store in Goodyear in spring 2027 at the GSQ mixed-use development on Bullard Ave and McDowell Road—25,000 square feet designed for discounted fashion. The company will expand its market and serve local customers with its off-price offerings. AZ Family
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ The Goodyear City Council celebrated the opening of Goodyear High School—its first educational namesake—with school officials and city leaders marking the milestone. - ➤ St. Peter’s Montessori in Litchfield Park was named the first Montessori school in Arizona to earn the Purple Star School recognition, honoring its support for military-connected families.
