GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Drivers in Goodyear saw delays as the eastbound I-10 exit at Estrella Parkway closed on Sept. 2—lane restrictions applied along PebbleCreek and Estrella Parkways. City officials said progress on the new Goodyear Way linking 150th Avenue to Bullard Avenue will ease traffic around Civic Square when it is complete. Goodyear Independent
- ➤ Goodyear is launching new sports, arts, leadership, and police training programs to keep local youth active as the population grows while councilmember Trey Terry, who grew up in the city, said these options did not exist a generation ago. Goodyear Independent
