The non-profit Sounds of Autism named Goodyear a Unified Responder Community after city leaders, police, fire, school officials, and local groups worked together to support autistic children and their families.
The designation—part of Arizona Celebration 2025 to Present with partners like Palm Valley Church, AZ Community Impact, Agua Fria High School District, and the Kiwanis Club of Litchfield—shows a new step in community support.
