The Goodyear Arts & Culture Commission partnered with Catitude Arts to host an artist reception for aging artists in its Creative Aging program showcasing visual and performing arts made by adults 55 or older.
Retired art teacher Gayle Glenn displayed four works and her painting Coral Reef in Costa Rica won first place.

Goodyear launched the 'Banners of the Brave' Light Pole Banner Program to honor local veterans and service members.
Residents can submit nominations with a military photo and service details by Tuesday, September 30+ approved banners will be installed for Veterans Day events.

Scottsdale-based Diversified Partners broke ground on Ballpark Village, a 7.7-acre retail center at the northeast corner of Estrella Parkway and Yuma Road—designed to host restaurants, shops and service providers.
Confirmed tenants include Starbucks, Jersey Mike’s Subs, Pacific Dental Services, Farmer Boys, Nautical Bowls, Mesquite, a local Mexican concept and The Nail Boss, a Goodyear-based salon.
