- ➤ Slick City Action Park will open a nearly 45,000-square-foot indoor entertainment space later in October at the former Conn’s HomePlus building on W. McDowell Road in Goodyear, offering dry slides, a Sport Air Court, and a Junior Jungle for children five and under — the park will also include food, beverage options, and plans to add new jobs as part of a $12 million expansion across Arizona. - ➤ Agua Fria High School District spent over $143 million last school year to build two new high schools for growing enrollment in the West Valley — Goodyear High School started with its first class while Hilltop School for the Arts will open in August, and the district issued $100 million in new bonds to fund the projects.
