- ➤ This week, Fire Prevention Week highlights the safe use and disposal of lithium-ion batteries to reduce fire risks. Goodyear has started a pilot program using thermal imaging cameras on trash trucks—each camera sounds an alarm when temperatures hit 200°F—to help prevent fires and the city received a Best Safety Innovation Award for the effort.
