- ➤ The Fairytale Finds Winter Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov. 29 and 30 at Goodyear Ballpark — hosting over 200 vendors, live Disney-inspired characters and a Santa meet-and-greet, while independent publisher Dead Star Press operates a pop-up bookstore displaying Disney and fairytale-themed titles. Dead Star Press will also use the event to raise funds for its upcoming Weirdmobile — which will bring independent literature to more readers. Goodyear Independent

- ➤ This week the Goodyear Police Department held a public safety session where Officer Chris Carter and other officers explained traffic control, emergency responses, and how to join law enforcement.
