- ➤ Arizona schools will stop serving ultraprocessed foods starting in the 2026-2027 school year as required by the Arizona Healthy Schools Act ( Gov. Katie Hobbs signed the law in April ), which bans 11 additives from federally funded meal programs. School districts have begun making changes to meet the new rules. West Valley View

- ➤ Goodyear officials remind residents to take safety precautions during busy holiday travel and celebrations today. The city advises drivers to avoid impaired driving and urges proper battery disposal, secure home measures and safe Christmas tree handling to help prevent accidents, fires and theft.
