Arizona schools will stop serving ultraprocessed foods starting in the 2026-2027 school year as required by the Arizona Healthy Schools Act ( Gov. Katie Hobbs signed the law in April ), which bans 11 additives from federally funded meal programs.
School districts have begun making changes to meet the new rules.
