The Fairytale Finds Winter Market will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Nov.
29 and 30 at Goodyear Ballpark — hosting over 200 vendors, live Disney-inspired characters and a Santa meet-and-greet, while independent publisher Dead Star Press operates a pop-up bookstore displaying Disney and fairytale-themed titles. Dead Star Press will also use the event to raise funds for its upcoming Weirdmobile — which will bring independent literature to more readers.

This week the Goodyear Police Department held a public safety session where Officer Chris Carter and other officers explained traffic control, emergency responses, and how to join law enforcement.
The event is part of the city's ongoing Civic and Community Engagement program — a chance for residents to see everyday police work in action.
